Inorganic Blowing Agent (Primary Application)

Sodium bicarbonate decomposes at approximately 150°C. When heated during vulcanization, it releases carbon dioxide and water vapor to form fine and uniform micropores inside rubber. It is used to manufacture lightweight soft rubber products such as sponge rubber, foamed sealing strips, shock-absorbing pads, latex foam and foamed shoe soles.

Vulcanization pH Buffer Regulator (Stabilize Vulcanization System)

As a weakly alkaline buffering auxiliary, it neutralizes acidic additives and impurities in rubber compounds and stabilizes the pH value of compounds. It enables more even cross-linking of rubber molecules, shortens vulcanization time, improves elasticity, wear resistance and anti-aging performance of finished products, and avoids uneven local vulcanization and brittleness.

Neutralizing Auxiliary for Reclaimed Rubber Devulcanization

It is added in the devulcanization process of waste rubber to neutralize acidic waste gas generated during devulcanization and reduce equipment corrosion. Meanwhile, it isolates oxygen to restrain thermal oxidative degradation of rubber, cut down odor of reclaimed rubber and improve its processing fluidity.

Cleaning Auxiliary for Raw Materials and Molds 

(1) Degrease, remove ink and eliminate oil stains from waste rubber and rubber scraps; 

(2) Adjust the acid-base property of rubber molds and production circulating water, remove scale deposits on molds and facilitate demolding.
